USSA Alpine competitions are organized into general program categories based on the needs of racers at every level. 

Juniors

J6 - Ages 8 and Under (born 1999 and later)

J5 - Ages 9-10  (born 1997, 1998)

J4 - Ages 11-12 (born 1995, 1996)

J3 - Ages 13-14 (born 1993, 1994)

J2 - Ages 15-16 (born 1991, 1992)

J1 - Ages 17-19 (born 1988, 1989, 1990)

Adults

SR - Ages 20 (born 1987 and older)
